How to delete your account
You can delete your NORM Rhythm account at any time directly from the mobile app:
- Open the NORM Rhythm app on your device.
- Sign in with your account credentials.
- Tap Profile in the bottom navigation.
- Scroll to Account Settings.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm with your password.
There is no waiting period. When you confirm in the app, the deletion happens in that request — your account is not queued, held, or scheduled.
If you can't sign in or don't have access to the app, email support@neurospirelabs.com from the address on your account. We have to check it is really you before we delete anything, and once we have, the deletion is immediate.
What deleting here does and does not cover
NORM Rhythm (formerly Aligned) is one app on the NORM platform, and your login is shared across it. Deleting here deletes NORM Rhythm:
- Other NORM apps keep their own data. If you use another NORM product, deleting your NORM Rhythm account does not touch it — ask that app directly.
- Your NORM login is not deleted here. It is what signs you in everywhere, so removing it is a written request: email support@neurospirelabs.com and say you want your NORM login erased. That erases everything, in every NORM app, including the login itself.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove your NORM Rhythm data:
- Your NORM Rhythm profile and its settings
- Journal entries, reflections, and daily check-ins
- Pattern Finder scores and the reports built from them
- Skills Lab progress and completion records
- Streaks, pulse history, and Rewiring Score trends
- Push notification tokens and device identifiers
- Uploaded photos, avatars, and any attached media
What we keep, and why
Your Pattern Finder answers, unlinked from you. The answers themselves are kept so the instrument can keep being studied and improved, but the link between them and you is destroyed — your name, your email, and your account id are removed from them, and nothing afterwards can point them back at you. You agree to this when you take it. Your scores and reports are deleted with the rest of your account; it is the raw answers that remain, and they remain anonymous.
Records that involve another person. A shared couple history, a message you sent, a community post: we remove your content from view and unlink it from you rather than deleting someone else's copy of something you shared with them.
A record that the deletion happened — that an account was deleted, and when, with none of its content.
Records the law requires. Purchase and tax records for the statutory period, and anything under a legal hold.
None of these contain your journal, your reflections, or anything that identifies you.
Timeline
- Immediately — your NORM Rhythm data is deleted as part of the request you just made. There is no holding period and nothing to cancel.
- Immediately — your Pattern Finder answers are unlinked from you in the same operation, not later.
- Afterwards — only the records described above remain: anonymous answers, records involving other people, the deletion log, and what the law requires.
Once deletion is complete, this action cannot be undone. You can create a new account with the same email address at any time.
Frequently asked questions
Will deleting my NORM Rhythm account cancel my subscription?
Yes. Deleting your account cancels your subscription in the same step, before your data is erased, so you are not charged again. If you were charged recently and want a refund, email support@neurospirelabs.com. The app sells nothing in-app, so there is nothing to cancel in your App Store or Google Play settings.
Does this delete my other NORM apps too?
No. Deleting here deletes NORM Rhythm. Every other NORM product keeps its own data and has its own deletion request — ask that app directly. If you want everything gone across the whole platform, including the login that signs you in, email support@neurospirelabs.com and ask for your NORM login to be erased.
Why do you keep my Pattern Finder answers?
So the instrument can keep being studied and improved. They are kept without you attached to them: your name, email and account id are removed, and nothing afterwards can trace them back. You agree to this when you take the Pattern Finder. Your scores and reports are deleted with your account — it is the raw, anonymous answers that remain.
Can I delete just some of my data instead of the whole account?
Email support@neurospirelabs.com and tell us what you want removed. Deleting in the app removes all of your NORM Rhythm data at once, but a narrower request is something we will handle.
What if I change my mind after deleting?
Deletion is permanent. Once your data is deleted you cannot recover it, and there is no window in which to undo it. You're welcome to create a new account at any time.
How do I request my data before I delete?
Email support@neurospirelabs.com from your account email and request a data export. We'll provide a machine-readable copy of your assessments, journal, and profile within 30 days at no charge.
